We are seeking a skilled Finance Team Lead to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Income Audit (IA) functions. This role will oversee daily revenue verification, billing, collections, and reconciliation processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of AR and revenue controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of AR and Income Audit analysts.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular coaching sessions.
  • Act as point of escalation for complex billing or audit discrepancies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

Income Audit Responsibilities

  • Review and verify daily revenue reports across business units (e.g., front office, F&B, retail)
  • Reconcile POS/system-generated sales with deposits and GL entries.
  • Investigate voids, refund, and discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, revenue standards, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for management.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities

  • Oversee billing, collections, and cash application processes.
  • Monitor AR aging and follow-up on overdue accounts to support cash flow targets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer receipts and reconciliations.
  • Resolve billing disputes in coordination with operations, sales, and customer service.
  • Review journal entries and accruals related to AR and support month-end close.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure system accuracy.
  • Ensure revenue and receivables reports are timely, complete, and accurate.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in AR and income audit workflows.
  • Leverage automation and tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel macros, RPA) to improve reporting and reduce manual effort.
  • Work closely with finance systems and IT teams for enhancements or transitions (e.g., ERP, POS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of finance experience with 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong background in AR and income audit, preferably in hospitality, retail, or shared services.
  • Proficient in ERP and POS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and audit compliance.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in revenue audit, reconciliation, and customer invoicing systems.
  • Familiarity with international tax and revenue regulations (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax).
  • Exposure to shared services or multinational environments is preferred.
