The role
The
Finance Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis while supervising day-to-day activities such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and strategic finance professional with strong analytical and leadership skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise the company's end-to-end financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial transactions and records with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses and reports, offering insights and recommendations to aid management in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agencies during audits and tax compliance activities.
- Lead and coach the finance team, fostering professional growth and performance improvement.
- Drive the enhancement and implementation of financial systems, processes, and controls to optimize operational efficiency and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional credential is an advantage.
- At least 8 years of experience in a finance or accounting supervisory capacity, ideally gained in the manufacturing or packaging sector.
- Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis, with a deep understanding of accounting standards and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing finance teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
