We are seeking an experienced
Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Boss Cargo Express Freight Services Inc. in our Las Pinas City, Metro Manila office. As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other accounting records
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and procedures to enhance financial controls and data integrity
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff to support their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a finance or accounting department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in the use of spreadsheet applications
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
