As a Finance Staff – Partner Matters Accountant, you provide accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance support to partners by ensuring accurate financial records, timely tax filings, and proper coordination with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). The role focuses on maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial and ad hoc reports, and handling BIR-related registrations, transactions, and correspondences, while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, file, and facilitate payment of income tax returns with the BIR or through BIR‑accredited agent banks, in compliance with applicable tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Process registrations, updates, and other BIR‑related transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and firm procedures.
  • Draft and manage formal correspondences with the BIR, including follow‑ups, responses, and resolution of open cases or compliance issues.
  • Maintain BIR‑registered books of accounts, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and ad hoc accounting or tax‑related reports to support partner requirements and management requests.
  • Manage the issuance, recording, and monitoring of official receipts in line with compliance standards.
  • Adhere to firm policies on data privacy, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related course. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and Philippine taxation (including income tax preparation, BIR books of accounts, and statutory compliance processes).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of Excel formulas is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High standard of integrity, discretion, and accountability in handling confidential information.
