Finance Operations Manager

The Finance Operations Manager is responsible for the daily execution of accounting tasks to ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date. This role focuses on operations oversight, resolving operational bottlenecks and supporting process improvements to keep the accounting team running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1.Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the accounting team

2.Month-end Close Reporting and Audit Management

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual year-end close for Harlan + Holden entities
• Deliver timely and accurate close based on month-end closing calendar
• Ensure review and closure of audit findings

3.Balance Sheet Integrity

• Own Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiation discipline
• Oversee and review NetSuite (ERP) reconciliations
• Identify balance sheet and accounting risks early and escalate with mitigation plans
• Partner with FP&A (Financial Controller) to ensure working capital accuracy and visibility

4.Accounting Process Standardization

• Own Accounting control requirements within ERP processes
• Standardize close processes, templates and reconciliations
• Reduce manual workarounds and eliminate control weaknesses

5.Team Leadership

• Manage, lead and develop a team of 4-5 team members under Accounting team fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
