Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Analyst to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This role will play a key role in supporting several Australian small businesses by assisting with financial forecasts, variance analysis, demand planning and ad hoc reporting.

Day-to-Day Tasks Include:

• Month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of management reports
• Assisting management team with budgeting and forecasting
• Monthly P&L variance and cashflow analysis
• Monitoring and follow up of unpaid invoices
• Ad hoc sales and inventory reporting
• Ad hoc bookkeeping support where required
• Direct communication with clients to query and clarify transactions

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Proven experience with Australian companies in a financial and/or operations capacity
• Strong knowledge of Xero reporting functions
• Understanding of Finance/Accounting concepts and processes
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Reliable internet connection and a proactive, client-focused attitude
• Prior experience in e-commerce and wholesale sales channels highly regarded
