Job Description:
As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for managing recurring financial reporting, payment processes, and reconciliation activities that support SPX's logistics operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely payouts, and compliance with internal processes and controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate recurring billing reports and driver payout reports to support operational and financial processes.
- Perform regular reconciliations across operational and financial datasets, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Raise and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and approval workflows.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, trackers, and management dashboards to support business monitoring and decision-making.
- Support month-end and period-end closing activities through data validation and reconciliation.
- Investigate payment, billing, and reporting issues, providing timely resolution and recommendations.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and operational projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Shared Services, or related finance functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring processes with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or payment systems is a plus.
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or operations-related finance functions is an advantage but not required.
