Position: Finance Officer
We are looking for a Finance Officer, on behalf of our client, a training and consulting company, to support end-to-end accounting and finance operations in a project-driven, service-oriented environment.
Position Overview
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely billing and collections, and compliance with accounting standards. This role supports both internal operations and client-facing projects, making attention to detail and reliability essential.
Responsibilities
- General accounting and bookkeeping (GL, journal entries, accruals).
- Financial management (financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting).
- Month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Client billing and invoicing for consulting and training projects.
- Project cost tracking and expense monitoring.
- Bank reconciliations and balance sheet review.
- Support financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Coordination with operations and consulting teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting/general bookkeeping and finance experience.
- Background in professional services, consulting, and/or training companies is a plus.
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax compliance (BIR, VAT, withholding taxes, statutory reports).
- Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, tracking, reports).
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and reliable.
