Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in financial management and a strong understanding of Philippine local tax laws and regulations. This role will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, accurate reporting, and effective tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, including BIR requirements, VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax
- Handle tax filing, tax audits, and communication with local tax authorities
- Monitor changes in local tax regulations and assess their impact on the business
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and professional advisors
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles in the Philippines
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine local tax laws and BIR regulations
- Experience with tax filing, compliance, and audits
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or other relevant professional certification
- Experience in multinational or fast-growing companies
- Familiarity with Philippine labor-related financial compliance is a plus
