ZMG Ward Howell, a premier executive search firm, is currently seeking for full-time Finance Managers for multiple client vacancies within NCR area (Makati, Pasig, or BGC, Taguig).
Job Overview:
The Finance Manager will lead the organization's core finance functions, including general accounting, Philippine tax compliance (e.g., BIR and PEZA), and financial planning and analysis. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining full regulatory compliance, and delivering timely, high-qualify financial insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage full Philippine tax compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of local business taxes.
- Oversee PEZA compliance requirements, including incentive reporting, registrations, and coordination with PEZA and related government agencies.
- Lead in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Provide insights on profitability, cost control, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a finance business partner to management and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles
- Strong background in Philippine taxation (BIR) and PEZA compliance
- Solid experience in financial reporting and financial planning and analysis
- Must be amenable to work on a hybrid set up
- Must be willing to be assigned to work within NCR (Makati, Pasig, or Taguig area)
