About the Role
At The Lind Hotels, we believe that financial excellence is the backbone of our luxury guest experience. We are seeking a meticulous, highly disciplined Finance Manager who pairs sharp analytical rigor with a strong background in hospitality accounting models.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial ecosystems, oversee full-spectrum balance sheets, and ensure the long-term fiscal health of our premier resort brand. We highly welcome applications from senior Assistant Managers, Accounting Supervisors, or Junior Managers who hold strong foundational accounting degrees and are ready to step into an executive management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department heads to craft realistic, data-driven fiscal budgets, ensuring departmental numbers align with the resort's operational goals.
- Collaborate with the Group Director of Finance to translate historical data and occupancy trends into actionable monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
- Oversee and review the full spectrum of day-to-day financial reporting, ensuring the absolute accuracy of balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
- Champion the integrity of our financial data flow, managing specialized hotel accounting and enterprise resource planning software (PMS/ERP).
- Monitor and navigate day-to-day financial risks, tax compliance, and local regulatory requirements to safeguard the organization's stability.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring meticulous compliance, orderly ledger management, and pristine record-keeping.
- Analyze, authorize, and track capital expenditures (CapEx) related to hotel maintenance, property renovations, and asset acquisitions.
- Direct daily cash management operations, optimizing liquidity to support immediate resort operational needs.
- Lead, organize, and inspire the property finance team by setting clear accounting performance benchmarks and fostering a supportive culture of continuous development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Must be a graduate ofBS Accountancy (BSA) from a reputable university.
- Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license holder is not required but an advantage.
Technical Experience & Skills
- Proven experience within a hotel or resort environment. A solid, practical understanding of hospitality revenue streams (Rooms, F&B, Spa).
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Experience as an Assistant Finance Manager, Senior Accounting Supervisor, or Junior Finance Manager in a hotel setup is highly required.
- High proficiency in financial spreadsheet modeling, variance analysis, cost tracking, and navigating advanced hospitality accounting software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical financial data clearly for non-finance department heads.
- Full readiness for corporate deployment to property developments, with professional on-site residing arrangements available.
