Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, developing forecasts, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management and business operations.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present analysis to senior leadership
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with accounting
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business cases
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering professional development and performance excellence

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters degree or MBA preferred)
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, GAAP/IFRS, and best practices
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
