Finance Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to provide strategic financial insights and enhance business performance. This role combines financial analysis, compliance, and team leadership to drive operational success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key financial partner to commercial and operational teams, delivering insights for revenue growth and cost efficiency. Lead budgeting and financial planning initiatives, including detailed scenario analysis. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, variance assessments, KPI tracking, and trend identification to inform business strategies. Produce actionable recommendations based on financial data to enhance profitability. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, adhering to accounting standards and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Implement and maintain robust internal controls covering finance processes, inventory, and revenue recognition. Oversee GST and corporate tax matters, including compliance and optimising tax positions through collaboration with advisors. Manage external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements efficiently. Supervise and maintain cash flow for operational sustainability and growth initiatives, focusing on working capital management. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors for seamless audit and tax processes. Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance finance operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a recognised professional qualification (e.g., CA/ACCA). Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to Big 4 firms. Previous experience in a retail or F&B environment is advantageous. Strong analytical abilities and a commercial mindset to convert financial data into actionable insights. Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and financial planning. Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented, hands-on approach, with adaptability to fast-paced environments. Familiarity with D365 ERP systems and experience in finance transformation initiatives is a plus.
