Company Description Miguelitos International Corporation is a manufacturing and franchising company that has been operating since 2002, specializing in instant food premixes and soft serve ice cream. The company supplies beverage, milkshake, coffee, chocolate, milk tea, bakery, and snack mixes, and is recognized as a trusted partner of five-star hotels, restaurants, food chains, and major supermarket groups. Miguelitos also exports its food products to the USA, Canada, UAE, Australia, and Japan. As a franchisor, the company operates more than 16 business concepts and over 600 branches nationwide in the Philippines, led by its flagship soft serve ice cream brand. Miguelitos holds multiple certifications, including CGMP, Halal, PHFDA, USFDA, PFA membership, import and export licenses, and SEC registration.

Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Parañaque, responsible for overseeing the company's financial planning, reporting, and control activities. This role manages budgeting and forecasting, prepares and reviews financial statements, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Finance Manager will monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulatory agencies as needed. Daily tasks include analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports and dashboards, reviewing cost structures for manufacturing and franchising operations, and supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights. The role also involves leading and mentoring finance team members, improving financial processes and systems, and supporting cross-functional initiatives with operations, sales, and franchising teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with cost accounting and inventory management, ideally within manufacturing, food, or franchising environments.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial software or ERP systems, with the ability to build and interpret financial models and reports.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in a finance or accounting management role; experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or franchising is preferred.
