Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. 

 

Responsibilities

*Oversee the overall financial operations of the hotel.

*Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports.

*Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

*Monitor departmental expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets.

*Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records.

*Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

*Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and financial policies.

*Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial controls.

*Coordinate with external auditors and assist during financial audits.

*Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.

*Supervise and guide the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
