Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial and administrative activities to meet business and financial goals.
- Serve as both a hands-on contributor and mentor to the Finance team.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to management and stakeholders providing insights that shape business strategy.
- Partner with the Head of Finance and Brand Managers to prepare business plans and operational budgets for assigned brands.
- Analyze costs, margins, and sales performance, providing actionable recommendations for growth and efficiency.
- Develop forecasts, projections, and financial models to guide decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 34 years of experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Background in an accounting firm or in-house finance role operational finance experience preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and developing a team.
- Strong grasp of corporate finance principles, accounting standards, and financial best practices.
- Hands-on experience in cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
- Skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in the eCommerce industry is a plus!
