About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, business-focused, and collaborative Financial Analysis Advisor(Manager) to play a critical role in supporting the growth and operational success of our Philippines-based organization. This position serves as a key liaison between Philippine and US Finance stakeholders while partnering closely with external service providers to ensure strong financial governance, controls, reporting excellence, and operational oversight.

What You'll Do
Strategic Finance & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting local site leadership and business stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted partner to US and Philippine Finance teams, ensuring alignment of financial objectives and governance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, compliance partners, and service providers.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations that support strategic business initiatives and organizational growth.
Governance, Risk Management & Financial Oversight
- Support the review and assessment of complex financial transactions, including:
- Intercompany cross-charges
- Equity compensation programs (RSUs and stock options)
- International assignments and employee taxation matters
- Other specialized finance and compliance activities
- Coordinate with internal and external audit partners regarding financial reporting, controls, and regulatory inquiries.
- Review finance-related issues raised by auditors, compliance partners, or service providers and determine appropriate escalation paths.
- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks that may impact business objectives.
- Contribute to financial governance frameworks that promote strong controls and accountability.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the preparation and coordination of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Monitor actual spending against budget and provide meaningful variance analysis.
- Deliver financial reporting and performance insights to leadership teams.
- Support operational decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
- Oversee headcount governance and workforce-related financial planning.
- Track program-level value realization and financial performance metrics.
Payroll & Operational Finance
- Review and approve payroll submissions prior to disbursement.
- Support day-to-day financial operations and approval processes in accordance with delegated authority guidelines.
- Ensure financial transactions are aligned with established controls, policies, and procedures.
- Provide ongoing operational financial oversight to support business continuity and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in:
- Financial Analysis
- Accounting
- Controllership
- Audit
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Experience working within multinational corporations, shared services, global business services, or international environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting month-end close activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP/General Ledger systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Manila for the first 2–3 months to support onboarding, stakeholder engagement, training, and business immersion. Upon successful completion of the onboarding period, the role will transition to a hybrid work arrangement. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to work a mid-shift schedule to effectively collaborate with US-based stakeholders and business partners
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
- Insurance, healthcare, or highly regulated industry experience.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Procurement, Compliance, or Audit functions.
- Background working with external audit firms, shared service organizations, or outsourced finance operations.
