The Finance Lead General Accounting is responsible for overseeing the company's general accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and adherence to company policies. This role supports business operations by providing timely and reliable financial information critical to decision-making in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage general accounting activities, including GL, month-end closing, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors on financial and regulatory matters
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting
- Leadership capability with strong analytical and communication skills
