Finance Executive (Senior)

The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification, with relevant experience in financial accounting. The role will oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting and transactions.

The role will be responsible for the effective management of finance systems and related projects, while providing oversight of critical business finance functions, monitoring financial activities and projects, and ensuring accurate and reliable management reporting. The position will also lead and support the finance team in maintaining strong financial controls, process efficiency, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Duties & Responsibility

Finance Support – UK & Europe

• Manage account entries, documents, payments & finances for UK & European entities of the Group.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reports
• Uploading of Vendor invoices in the software
• Assist in Finance Monthly Closing as needed. This includes recording adjustments for prepayments, accruals, depreciations etc.
• Preparation and uploading of external and intercompany invoices in timely manner.
• Liaison with local authorities for statutory compliance, statutory auditors including support in timely finalisation & filing of statutory returns.
• Support the Group Finance Team in reporting to the Lenders & PE holders
• Liaising with the consultants for timely filing of VAT & Tax returns for UK & European entities and sharing the required documentation with them.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting / Finance or related field. CPA is preferred but not required
• 8 + years proven working experience in the accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in dealing with VAT & Tax matters for UK & European businesses
• Strong background and knowledge in ERP System- preferably D365
• Excellent report-writing and English communication skills.
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
• Self-starter demonstrating commitment, a strong work ethic and a can do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders and authorities in Manila.
