About Our Client

The client is a medium-sized technology company with a growing presence in Davao and Bukidnon.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, payments, and bookkeeping.
  • Ensure accurate BIR filings, statutory accounting, and timely month-end closing.
  • Prepare and review financial and management reports for local and UK requirements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow; analyze variances and advise leadership.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and reconciliations with the UK team.
  • Implement robust internal controls and drive adoption of financial tools (Xero, Power BI).
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine regulations (SEC, BIR, DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, LGU).
  • Lead regulatory filings, renewals, audits, and maintain governance documentation.
  • Oversee contracts, vendor agreements, and employment terms; support legal reviews and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, risk assessments, and corporate secretary activities.
  • Align local processes with global standards and collaborate with UK Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.
  • Mentor finance and admin staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in finance, compliance, or audit, preferably in BPO, shared services, or tech-driven industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with local regulatory bodies (SEC, BIR, DOLE, etc.).
  • Familiarity with legal and corporate governance processes, including contract review and company registration.
  • Proficient in Xero, advanced MS Excel skills, and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience collaborating with international or cross-border teams.
  • High ethical standards and sound professional judgment.
  • Amenable to working on a fully onsite arrangement in Davao with regular travel to Bukidnon
