Job Title: Finance Automation Specialist
Location: BGC, Taguig
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Job Summary:
The Finance Automation Specialist plays a key role in identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions within the Finance function. This role collaborates closely with Finance and IT teams to streamline processes, enhance data quality, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification & Prioritization:
- Work with Finance and IT teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities. Engage stakeholders, support in securing approvals, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implementation & Maintenance:
- Design, build, test, and implement process automations using tools such as Excel, VBA, Tableau, and Microsoft 365 Power Apps.
- Data Management:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data within automated tools. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Sun Life policies.
- Training & Support:
- Provide training to Finance team members on automation tools and offer ongoing support to resolve any tool-related issues.
- Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure that automated processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Integration:
- Collaborate with local and regional IT teams, Finance Enablement, and Corporate Finance Accelerator teams to support system enhancements and RPA initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 57 years of solid experience in automation projects, preferably within finance or accounting processes
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Excel, VBA, Tableau, and Power Apps
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
