The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting the company's financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting and finance activities. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial transactions.
- Assist with audits and tax-related requirements as needed.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
