Hi! We're Smartsourcing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our clients growing finance team. In this role, you'll take ownership of core finance operations, from AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations to statutory compliance and month-end reporting. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis, identify opportunities for process improvement, and help guide strategic decisions in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Due to continued growth and international expansion, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support and scale our finance operations. Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, and payroll
• Ensure statutory compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, Insurances)
• Monitor cash flow and ensure financial obligations are met
• Prepare bank, general ledger, and cash flow reconciliations
• Deliver month-end and Board-level reporting
• Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls
• Review cost variances and investigate discrepancies
• Responsible for training, supervising, and coaching junior accountants or finance admin associates in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic general ledger functions.

Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience
• Experience in high-growth or SaaS environments preferred
• Strong reporting and financial analysis skills
• Experience with Xero, Salesforce, and Power BI preferred
