Job Description

Finance Management

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, meaningful and fairly stated financial statements
  • Monitor the groups actual performance against plan and provide relevant reports and analyses to management
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the group
  • Lead the development and implementation of an appropriate system of internal controls, financial policies and procedures, corporate governance.
  • Lead the implementation of an appropriate automated financial and accounting reporting system
  • Monitor cash flows, sources and uses of funds to ensure sufficient liquidity to support the operating requirements of the business
  • Manage tax planning and compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Liase with external auditors and government agencies (e.g., SEC, BIR, LGUs) on financial reports required from the group and any audits that may be conducted on such reports
  • Provide advice on accounting implications of critical or strategic issues and other corporate actions including investments.

Administrative Oversight

  • Supervise general administrative functions including procurement, office management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee records management and document control systems.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop the finance and admin team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives.

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and administration, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., PFRS), and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP B1 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with government reporting and compliance. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
