Provides customer assistance and technical support in relation to the use, application, and acceptance of Petron products
Markets performance chemicals and consultancy services; manages collection of sales; and formulates sales objectives
Job Function:
Makes periodic calls on maintenance and field personnel of customers and renders assistance related to the use of Petron fuels and lubricants
Conducts in-plant testing, plant equipment lubrication surveys & monitoring programs to assist customers in the implementation of preventive maintenance & energy conservation programs
Attends to customer concerns related to product quality, packaging, delivery, application & others
Assists in the conduct of field testing of newly developed Petron products for products approval by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
Recommends innovative technical programs for customers including review/evaluation of technical specifications for bidding purposes
Assists the Sales Group in the solicitation of new accounts and development of business
Conducts technical seminars/training and/or presentation on product-related topics, product application, storage & handling, and other areas that customers may require
Assists in the technical training of Sales or new FTS Engineers
Assists TPD Section in the evaluation of performance of competitive products for effective product quality matching, product rationalization as well as in the development of product bulletins and other technical publications
Represents the company in technical societies and conferences/seminars to keep abreast with technology developments and strengthen business relationship with technical men in related field
Markets performance chemicals and consultancy services
Manages collection of sales of performance chemicals and consultancy services
Formulates sales volume objectives for marketing of performance chemicals and consultancy services
Performs other functions and/or activities as required by the Vismin FTS Coordinator, FTS
Supervisor, or Technical Manager such as the participation to the Innovation Center partnership with Associated Octel in the Asian Hub
Handles mainly the solicitation of performance chemicals and technical industries in the following:
power generation
marine/fishing
manufacturing
cement
transport
Acts as consultant of new FTS Engineers in handling product quality complaints and troubleshooting of equipment in the following:
power generation
marine/fishing
manufacturing
cement
Job Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in B.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical)
Two years of experience in Petroleum Refinery, Luboil Blending, FTS, Maintenance, Sales)
