Job Summary
A confidential manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the overall maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of its production facility. This role is responsible for managing all building systems, utilities, maintenance programs, and facility-related projects to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The Facilities Manager will also lead compliance efforts related to safety, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements while supervising internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all building systems and utilities are fully operational.
- Implement and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Monitor performance of facility equipment such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, compressed air, and water systems.
Safety, Compliance & Environmental Management
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, building codes, and environmental and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Lead emergency preparedness initiatives and contribute to EHS improvement programs.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Oversee third‑party service providers including security, janitorial, waste management, and maintenance contractors.
- Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate service contracts, and manage SLAs.
Budgeting & Cost Efficiency
- Prepare and manage the facilities operating budget, including utilities, maintenance costs, and CAPEX projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational reliability or safety.
Project & Infrastructure Management
- Lead facility upgrades, repairs, expansions, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Coordinate closely with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams.
- Manage timelines, resources, and documentation for all facility‑related projects.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage facilities and maintenance teams, providing supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in Facilities Management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of building systems, utilities, and production-supporting infrastructure.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Expertise in maintenance management, utilities oversight, and facility systems troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental requirements.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers, and facility-related projects.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning tools and facility management systems.
- Willing to work in Cavite/Calabarzon
