The
Facilities Engineer oversees and coordinates to maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems within the company facilities. He/She will perform systems evaluations on facilities and determine what installation or repair services need to be performed, manage a budget and create calculations to ensure operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Provides full assistance to Facilities Supervisor and or Manager.
- Provides 24/7 Technical Support (shifting) for ibex facilities and properties.
- Inspects all equipment including critical environment in a regular basis.
- Oversees and handles outsourced housekeeping & technical skilled staff
- Handles utilities operational and monitoring
- Responds on client's technical concerns such as repairs and troubleshooting.
- Spearheads maintenance team in the facility check and repair works.
- Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
- Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of building safety inspection, compliance and or any other related programs.
- And other delegation works as provided by immediate supervisor/manager
Qualifications
- Preferably College Graduate of Engineering and or equivalent technical related field.
- With at least 1 year(s) of working experience as Facilities or Maintenance Engineer/Assistant.
- Knowledge in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge on Safety and Risk Management Procedures
- Excellent coaching, team work skills, organizational and leadership skills
- Good Analytical/critical thinking with a keen eye to details
- Design, deadline focused and results-driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally.
- With BOSH/COSH Certified and other DOLE prescribed training is advantage.
- Work experience in BPO companies as Facilities Engineer/Assistant is advantage
