The Facility Assistant Manager is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the smooth operation of all facility-related systems and assets across assigned sites. The role ensures that facilities are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of all facility-related concerns, including but not limited to equipment, furniture, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Ensure all company assets are properly monitored, maintained, and safeguarded.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including permits, FSIC, sanitary permits, contracts, and other government-mandated documents.
- Handle sourcing, accreditation, evaluation of vendors, and creation and monitoring of purchasing requests.
- Oversee transportation requirements and assist in managing courier and messenger services.
- Coordinate with lessors and assist in updating and monitoring lease agreements and contracts.
- Assist in monitoring overall project progress and address punch listing concerns (project-based).
- Conduct scheduled site visits and facility audits.
- Manage and coordinate third-party service providers such as housekeeping, security, and other facility-related vendors.
- Address operational and maintenance issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Preferably a Licensed Engineer.
- With experience in facility management, building maintenance, or property operations.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Familiar with regulatory compliance and government permits.
- Experience in vendor management, sourcing, and purchasing processes is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willing to travel and conduct site visits.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple sites or priorities.
