Job Description

The Facilitator Support role serves as the bridge between the curriculum and the learners. The primary goal is to maintain high-quality feedback, support learner progress, and foster a positive and engaging learning community throughout the training experience.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong communication skills with critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with AI-assisted tools while maintaining a human-centered learning approach.

Core Skills

AI-Assisted Grading

Ability to use AI tools to evaluate learner submissions against grading rubrics while maintaining human judgment and oversight.

Ensure feedback remains accurate, fair, and aligned with learning objectives.

Empathetic Communication

Maintain a warm, supportive writing style that helps learners feel heard, guided, and encouraged throughout their learning journey.

Critical Thinking

Identify when AI-generated feedback is too generic, robotic, unclear, or technically incorrect.

Refine feedback to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usefulness.

Conflict Resolution

Respond calmly and professionally to frustrated learners.

Help de-escalate concerns within discussion boards, comments, or community threads.

Rubric Mastery

Quickly internalize grading standards to maintain consistency, fairness, and transparency across learner evaluations.

Primary Tasks

Rubric Development

Collaborate in the creation and refinement of grading rubrics for AI-based exercises and future course assessments.

Use AI tools to help draft scoring criteria for technical competencies such as prompt engineering and output analysis.

Ensure rubrics remain objective, learner-friendly, and aligned with course outcomes.

Reviewing Assessments

Evaluate learner submissions using AI-assisted tools.

Transform automated feedback into personalized, constructive, and actionable guidance.

Community Management

Monitor discussion boards and learner spaces.

Answer questions, clarify lessons, and keep conversations productive and supportive.

Sentiment Tracking

Identify recurring learner challenges or sticking points.

Escalate insights to curriculum leads to support continuous lesson improvement.

Encouragement and Engagement

Actively recognize learner progress by liking, acknowledging, and commenting on achievements within the community.

Support motivation and improve course completion rates through positive engagement.
