What You'll Do
- Partner with NPD, R&D, Marketing, Quality, and cross-functional teams to translate product concepts into external manufacturing requirements.
- Identify, assess, and onboard qualified ODM/OEM manufacturers across cosmetics, food, personal care, and home care categories.
- Lead end-to-end supplier sourcing including market mapping, benchmarking, industry engagement, RFQs, technical evaluation, and supplier selection.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments covering formulation, technology, capacity, certifications, cost structure, and innovation.
- Manage commercial discussions including sampling, cost negotiations, MOQs, and support contract development with Procurement, Legal, and Finance.
- Act as the primary supply interface during NPD pilots, scale-up, and commercialization while ensuring alignment with QA/Regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, food safety, cosmetics compliance).
- Monitor supplier performance and risks, establish KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, innovation), and drive continuous improvement and strategic supplier development
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in external sourcing, supplier management, or manufacturing partnerships.
- Proven track record working with ODM/OEM manufacturers within cosmetics, food, personal care, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
- Experience supporting NPD or product commercialization initiatives is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, cosmetic manufacturing standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in supplier audits, RFQ processes, contract negotiations, and project management; Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply Chain certifications are a plus.
