JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS:
As a Logistics Officer, you will manage end-to-end import shipment processing, ensuring all documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements are accurate and completed on time. You play a key role in enabling the timely, cost-effective, and compliant release of shipments that directly support aircraft operations, maintenance activities, and business continuity.
WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION:
Import Documentation & Regulatory Permits
Review shipping documents to determine if permits are required and verify accuracy prior to shipment arrival in Clark or Manila.
Apply and secure necessary permits and certifications, including but not limited to:
CAAP Import Certificate
NTC Permit
DOE Permit
FDA Permit
PDEA Permit
Other applicable government approvals
Ensure all required reports and submissions are completed within prescribed timelines.
Shipment Coordination & Tracking
Notify and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and couriers for shipment pickup and delivery.
Provide shipping instructions and ensure smooth handover of shipments.
Follow up with forwarders and brokers to obtain regular shipment status updates.
Track and monitor shipment progress from origin to final delivery.
Operational Performance & KPI Achievement
Ensure shipments are released and delivered in a timely, accountable, and cost-effective manner.
Support achievement of import shipment KPIs, particularly for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and critical shipments delivered on time.
Maintain and update the Import Monitoring Report and shipment tracking logs.
Reporting & Issue Management
Attend Daily Status Review (DSR) meetings and provide updates on shipment status and logistics issues.
Identify, report, and escalate discrepancies or problems encountered during import shipments.
Communicate shipment risks and delays to the team proactively.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparing and submitting supporting documents required by brokers, including MSDS, product brochures, Purchase Orders (PO), and proof of payment.
Collaborate with team members and contribute improvement ideas to enhance logistics efficiency and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering (Science-related field), or Pharmacy (with valid license preferred).
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF editing tools.
Proven ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills with a positive and proactive working attitude.
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
