As a Reliability Technician, you will be on the front lines of product validation, performing critical inspections and tests that uphold Allegro's reputation for excellence. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Inspection & Testing:Provide essential support for reliability testing programs, including Reliability Qualifications and the Reliability Monitor Program.Perform detailed mechanical and visual inspections on product samples according to specific requirements (SPE-0000413, SPE-0000492, PRC-0003255).Accurately record all inspection results in the Reliability Test Log-sheet and/or Reliability Database.Generate External Visual Inspection (EVI) reports using the prescribed templates and immediately inform your supervisor of any rejections for validation.
- Lab Operations & Compliance:Manage the retention and retrieval of reliability samples and related documents.Strictly comply with all Reliability Laboratory safety SOPs and support the Environmental Management System, including the proper handling of waste.Perform tasks that directly support the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help the department meet its goals.
- Communication & Team Support:Communicate effectively with the Reliability Supervisor regarding test requests, issues, and timelines, providing clear results and data.Engage in new training opportunities to enhance your skills and apply new learnings to support the team.Attend refresher training to maintain your inspection certification.Perform other related duties as assigned by your superior from time to time.
Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills)
- Education & Experience:You are an incoming 3rd-year college student or a graduate of any 2-year course.You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar or related position within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
- Functional Competencies:You are knowledgeable in External Visual Inspection (EVI) procedures.You are proficient in the use of computers and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Attributes:You have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.You are a reliable team player who can follow procedures diligently.You are eager to learn and enhance your skills through continuous training.
