Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimating Supervisor/Superintendent based in Muntinlupa City. The role involves supervising and leading estimation activities, coordinating with project teams, preparing cost estimates, budgets, and strategies to manage project costs effectively. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines)
- At least 58 years of experience in construction cost estimating
- Strong knowledge of local construction practices and pricing
- Proficient in quantity take-off and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Planswift, Bluebeam, MS Excel)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in vertical or horizontal projects
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze bid documents, plans, specifications, and scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontract works
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and bid proposals
- Identify project risks and provide value engineering recommendations
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Procurement Team
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site inspections
- Monitor market price trends of construction materials in the Philippines
- Assist in contract review and cost control during project execution
- Maintain updated cost databases and historical records
- Other related works for construction may be assigned.
- Maintain compliance to confidentiality and data privacy requirementof the client/s and by law.
