Qualifications
- Preferably a college graduate or someone with equivalent educational background in Industrial Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Preferably trained pollution control office and/or occupational safety and health.
- Diligent and Hardworking
- Ability to establish good working relations with and among subordinates and peers.
- Residing in Metro Manila and or nearby Marikina area.
Specific Responsibilities
As Environment and Safety Officer
- Handles annual renewal of permits, clearances, licenses and acts as company representatives during annual building inspections. Including application of Building & Occupancy Permits for new construction projects.
As Pollution Control Officer for Plant 1&2
- Ensure environmental compliance of both plants (Plant 1 &2)
- Submission of CMR & SMR repots to DENR & LLDA
- Maintain Liaison with the city/provincial/municipal or local pollution officer.
- Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of both plants in coordination with the Engineering Department. Monitor activities pertaining the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end of ensuring their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standards.
- Facilitates the proper disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.
As Safety Officer
- Implements Occupational Safety and Health Practices.
- Promotes the AFCMIs workplace safety management program, procedures, policies and manual.
- Coordinate safety training programs.
- Conduct safety and health inspections, investigation and maintain records.
- Implement Pest Control Management Program.
- Communication with the Pest Control Service Provider.
- Coordinating with other departments with regards to pest control management.
- Monitoring and filling out of pest control documents and records.
As Food Defense Team Member
- Conduct Threat Assessment to identify and evaluate potential and vulnerabilities of the company on any intention malicious attack leading to food contamination.
- Identify and recommend proportionate mitigation measures to address the threat and vulnerabilities.
- Recommend training and communication strategy for the implementation of the food defense program.
- Perform verification and incident management of the implementation of the food defense program.
