Job Description

Role Summary:

A highly driven and experiencedSales Managerto lead the IT solutions sales division. This role is responsible for setting and executing strategic sales initiatives, developing high-performing teams, and delivering customized solutions that meet the complex needs of enterprise and government clients. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on leadership. They will not only manage performance metrics and business growth targets but also actively support the sales team in closing key opportunities, ensuring success from initial contact to final contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.

Set clear revenue targets and drive initiatives to meet or exceed them.

Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to maintain competitive positioning.

Team Leadership & Sales Enablement

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account executives, sales engineers, and support staff.

Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, structured KPIs, and career development plans.

Provide active deal support, including strategy development, solution positioning, and direct involvement in complex or high-value negotiations.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key enterprise and government clients.

Oversee client engagement strategies, ensuring solutions are tailored to their needs and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Serve as an escalation point for strategic accounts and complex client requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teamsincluding technical, marketing, and product developmentto align offerings with market demands.

Translate client and market feedback into actionable insights to inform product development and service delivery.

Sales Operations and Reporting

Manage accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and sales performance reporting through CRM and BI tools.

Continuously improve sales processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.

Budget and Vendor Management

Oversee department budget, resource allocation, and return on investment tracking.

Manage relationships with technology vendors and negotiate partnerships or distribution agreements as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or any related field (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 710 years of progressive experience in IT solution sales.

Strong background in a managerial or team leadership capacity.

Prior experience working with a System Integrator (SI) is required.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, software, and integration services.

Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.

Proficiency in pipeline management, deal structuring, and enterprise-level negotiations.

Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with large enterprise and government clients is a significant advantage.
