Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented English to Japanese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both English and Japanese, with the ability to accurately and culturally translate content for a variety of digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Translate English social media captions into Japanese while maintaining the tone, style, and context.
- Translate English video captions, blog articles, and other written content into Japanese.
- Ensure translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and free of errors.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure the translated content aligns with the brand voice.
- Review and proofread translations to maintain quality and consistency.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese and excellent English skills.
- Proven experience in translation, preferably for social media, video content, or digital marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience using translation tools or software.
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
