We're hiring an Engineering Team Lead to own technical delivery for Tribal's EBS product — one of our core platforms powering student management at institutions globally.

This is a hands-on technical lead role, not a pure people manager position. You'll stay close to the code, own CI/CD, deployment coordination, and engineering delivery practices, and lead a team of developers and QA analysts across ongoing EBS platform delivery and EBS 5 development and discovery.

What you'll own

• CI/CD pipelines, deployment coordination, and DevOps practices end to end
• Technical quality — code reviews, secure coding standards, and engineering best practices
• Delivery — timelines, risk escalation, and keeping the management team informed
• Ongoing EBS platform delivery and stability, plus contribution to EBS 5 discovery and development
• Team development — coaching developers and QA, identifying and closing skills gaps

What we're looking for

• Senior-level hands-on software development background — modern web or application development
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps experience — IaC, deployments, monitoring
• Experience leading or mentoring a dev team
• Scrum or Agile delivery experience
• Clear communicator — with your team and with stakeholders
• EBS product knowledge is a plus, not a requirement

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tooling
• Track record leading successful dev teams or projects
• Deep EBS or enterprise education platform knowledge
