We are looking for anEngineering Supervisorto assist the Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating major projects, and managing technical teams. The successful candidate will develop strategies, manage budgets, and ensure the operational success of their assigned section. You will work closely with technical teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Assist in leading technical activities, including planning and implementation of engineering projects.
- Maintenance Management: Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) records and machine histories for food manufacturing equipment.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor and check countermeasures to achieve set section KPIs, such as Machine Availability, MTTR-MTBF, and Job Order completion.
- Project Management: Create Scopes of Work (SOW), Bills of Materials (BOM), and lead projects for line improvements.
- Utility & Cost Control: Manage section operation and maintenance costs effectively while analyzing utility consumption per production output to improve efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to safety programs, 5S, and industry standards such as HACCP, Food Safety, and FSSC.
- People Management: Manage manpower scheduling, overtime, and staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance appraisals.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Engineer (PRC).
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing set-up and machine installation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Project Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of electrical generating plant P&IDs.
- Background in refrigeration systems, cold storages, and wastewater treatment (SBR system) is a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
Working Conditions:
- Location: San Martin de Porres, Paraaque City.
- Schedule: 6 days per week, 9 hours per day (including rest breaks).
- Requirements: Willingness to work shifting schedules and overtime as necessary.
