Engineering & Service Senior Manager
We are currently looking for an Engineering & Service Senior Manager who will be responsible for handling the overall operations of the Engineering Department. This role oversees the timely delivery of services and all after-sales activities of the department. The Engineering & Service Senior Manager works closely with customers, suppliers, and maintenance engineers to ensure services such as kitchen and laundry equipment and air conditioning system installations are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages all after-sales activities of the department
- Maintains close connections with customers and suppliers, ensuring a strong business relationship.
- Prepares summaries of parts sales forecasts for the division.
- Negotiates service contracts for both clients and partners.
- Updates management on the progress of escalated service activities and secures management approval for recommended actions
- Assists in short and long-range planning, including the preparation of forecasts and other reports.
- Prepares and reviews costing and selling prices to maximize contribution and win bids.
- Manages the credit and collection activities, ensuring ARs are paid on time.
- Recruit qualified personnel to effectively handle customer service requests.
- Collaborates closely with customers installation and maintenance engineers for proper installation and commissioning of major equipment.
- Engage in closing and finalizing sales negotiations and contracts.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Engineering (Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred)
- At least 10 years of managerial experience in HVAC, general equipment maintenance, and warranty management
- Knowledgeable in kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and air conditioning systems
- With sales experience (after-sales service, parts sales, managing targets, contract negotiation, inventory forecasting, and accounts receivable management)
- Has good customer service, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, mainly MS Excel
