The Engineering & Maintenance Manager will lead the Equipment and Utilities operations in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of all engineering systems, including power, compressed air, chilled water, refrigeration, water treatment, and wastewater treatment.
- Oversee autonomous and preventive maintenance using CMMS
- Maintain defect-free equipment and areas and align maintenance strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Manage refrigeration and utilities systems to ensure optimal performance
- Recommend system upgrades and capacity expansion projects.
- Guarantee uninterrupted supply of utilities (electricity, air, fuel, etc.) and ensure compliance with sanitary, electrical, mechanical, and building codes.
- Lead capital projects from feasibility to execution
- Drive cost control and operational efficiency
- Develop engineering talent and succession plans
- Champion safety, environmental compliance, and product quality
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing engineering/utilities.
- Strong background in refrigeration, HVAC, control systems, and rotating equipment.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficient in CMMS and engineering systems analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory codes and compliance standards.
- Willing to be assigned onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.
