Engineer, Facilities Management

The Role:

Responsible for the maintenance, design, and improvement of the physical infrastructure and systems of the building facilities, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with government and global occupational health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Implement preventive maintenance programs and repairs of furnitures, FF&E and other facilities, to ensure optimal performance and prevent disruptions in the daily operations.
• Ensure proper implementation and compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure and safe working environment.
• Conduct a thorough safety audit of the facilities using a Risk Assessment Matrix, to gauge the current condition and performance, identify and categorize risks/hazards, and to assess and mitigate the current and possible risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering(Electrical/Mechanical) or any related course.
• At least 3 years experience in integrated facilities management. Exprience in a BPO setting is and advantage.
• Strong foundation and expertise on facilities and equipment maintenance and project management.
• Solid knowledge on the following:

- Facilities system and trouble shooting and repair including general electrical and plumbing and maintenance

- Building codes, standards, and regulations, construction principles and maintenance of structures and facilities

- Facility expansions, layouts, quality controls and systems

- Determine equipment and facility specifications based on facility needs or standards

- Resource optimization.
