Job Summary: The Employer Branding and Employee Communications Officer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing multimedia assets that strengthen UnionBank's employer brand. The role ensures consistent, engaging, and timely creative output across recruitment marketing, internal communications, EVP campaigns, and Careers@UnionBank social media channels. This position plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and talent attraction by producing high-quality visual and video content aligned with UnionBank brand guidelines and EVP (U, Reimagined).

Duties And Responsibilities

Creative Design & Multimedia Production

  • Develops graphics, layouts, templates, and digital assets for HR campaigns, talent acquisition initiatives, events, EVP materials, and internal communications.
  • Produces high-quality video contentincluding filming, editing, animation, and motion graphicsfor employer branding and HR storytelling.
  • Ensures all creative materials conform to UnionBank visual identity, EVP messaging, and tone.

Social Media Content Development

  • Creates daily/weekly content for Careers@UnionBank platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Produces reels, short-form videos, thumbnails, and visuals optimized for engagement and audience relevance.
  • Supports content planning and editorial calendars for recruitment marketing and talent campaigns.

Recruitment Marketing Support

  • Designs job ads, career tips, event posters, hiring announcements, and campaign materials for Talent Acquisition.
  • Produces creative assets for Recruitment Caravan, job fairs, career events, and sourcing initiatives.
  • Enhances storytelling for tech, data, retail banking, and leadership roles to improve pipeline engagement.

Internal Communications & EVP Activation

  • Develops creative materials for HR programs.
  • Supports visual rollout of the Employer Value Proposition across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Collaborates with HR teams to ensure consistent message delivery and brand alignment.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Works closely with relevant HR teams to ensure creative requirements are met.
  • Coordinates with Marketing Experience Group for Corporate brand alignment.
  • Supports photo/video coverage of HR events when required.

File Management & Brand Governance

  • Maintains organized and updated creative libraries, templates, and asset folders.
  • Ensures adherence to brand guidelines and EVP creative standards across all HR materials.
  • Conducts quality checks before publishing or releasing any creative asset.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, or similar tools.
  • Strong skills in video filming and editing for social media.
  • Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and content optimization for Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
