About the Role

Patra is seeking an Employee Engagement & Corporate Support Specialist to support our employees in the Philippines and provide backup support to our Corporate Reception team. This role is approximately 75% Employee Engagement and 25% Virtual Reception tasks, though this may shift throughout the year based on workload and event cycles.

This position focuses primarily on virtual engagement, recognition, and community-building programs, with only 23 in-person events per year and occasional quarterly inventory days. One in-person day per year may require local air travel.

As part of a small global team, this specialist may also provide virtual hosting or coverage support for US or India events when needed.

Success in this role requires someone who is independent, creative, proactive, positive, and eager to learn and teach others, while promoting a culture of connection, recognition, and well being across Patra.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Engagement Coordination (75%)

  • Employee Engagement Programs: Serve as a promoter and coordinator of internal engagement initiatives, including recognition, team building, connectivity, and wellbeing programs.

  • Virtual Engagement: Support and host recurring virtual events, activities, and celebrations that strengthen employee connection across the Philippines team.

  • In-Person Events: Lead coordination and on-site management for 12 annual in-person events; support logistics for small leadership gatherings as needed.

  • Venue & Site Management: Search, scout, and conduct ocular visits for potential event locations throughout the Philippines.

  • Vendor Relations: Source, secure, and manage relationships with vendors (gift suppliers, caterers, dcor, logistics, entertainment, etc.).

  • Inventory & Logistics: Maintain and track inventory for engagement materials and giveaway items. Coordinate assembly and distribution of New Employee and Baby gifts, corporate SWAG, as well as disaster relief supplies.

  • Promotion & Social Media: Create engaging promotional materials using Canva or similar design tools.

  • Budget Management: Assist in setting, tracking, and ensuring adherence to annual budgets for engagement programs and events.

Virtual Receptionist Support (25%)

  • Provide professional, friendly support by answering incoming calls and routing them appropriately.

  • Take accurate messages and ensure callers receive timely assistance.

  • Provide backup coverage to the US-based Corporate Reception team during periods of high volume or when engagement workloads are lighter.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in event coordination, project management, engagement programs, or administrative support.

  • Strong independent working style; able to take initiative, solve problems, and self-manage tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Creative, positive mindset with the ability to learn new skills and teach others.

  • Strong organizational and logistics skills, especially related to events and inventory.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building relationships with vendors and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools for creating promotional assets.

  • Experience using platforms such as Zoom for virtual events.

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to travel within the Philippines occasionally for events, site visits, or required inventory checks.

Working Environment & Standards

  • Hybrid
  • Employee must be able to work aligned to US hours, with flexibility to adjust schedules for special events or operational coverage.
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload; Directly connected into modem; No satellite.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work well with Patra colleagues, clients, and external organizations.
  • Comfortable working across global teams and providing occasional support for US or India events.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and commitment to safe and inclusive behaviors.

  • Compensation Range 27, 000 - 33,000 PHP - per month basic salary. Medical Benefits and other allowances are offered as additional benefits paid by the organization.
