Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, motors, generators, circuit breakers, and control panels.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, failures, and malfunctions: Troubleshoot wiring issues, switches, outlets, and circuits to maintain safe operations.
Installation of Electrical Systems: Install new electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other related components as required.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Perform work in a manner that minimizes risk to self, team members, and equipment.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergency breakdowns and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime in production or facility operations.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and electrical systems in use.
Equipment Calibration: Perform electrical calibration on machines, equipment, and devices as necessary to ensure proper functionality.
Education & Experience
- High school Diploma or Graduate in Electrical.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or technical training program in electrical maintenance/Tesda certification.
- With experience as an electrician, ideally in a maintenance or industrial setting.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry, and codes.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience with electrical tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing devices.
