The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within properties managed by Provalue Property Services Inc. The role ensures safe and uninterrupted electrical operations in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems including lighting, power outlets, panels, breakers, and wiring.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, ATS, UPS, and emergency lighting systems.
- Respond promptly to electrical issues, power failures, and emergency repair needs.
- Install electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and related components as required.
- Assist in electrical upgrades, renovations, and improvement projects within managed properties.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, local electrical codes, and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards, defects, or potential risks.
- Maintain proper use of tools, PPE, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Report recurring issues, system deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective or preventive actions.
- Coordinate with supervisors and property management regarding electrical concerns.
- Coordinate with other engineering trades (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) for integrated maintenance works.
- Assist contractors during major electrical repairs or installations.
- Perform other engineering-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Vocational or technical certification in Electrical Technology or a related field.
- With a valid electrician license or TESDA certification (preferred).
- At least 13 years of experience as an electrician in property management, commercial buildings, or hospitality-related facilities.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.
