8.2 Experts Manila (part of 8.2 Group) is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to integrate his construction supervision team undertaking construction supervision for a renowned renewable energy project developer in the Philippines.
The selected candidate will supervise the Electrical BOP Contractor's work on Medium and High Voltage networks (including TL) and Step-up Substation.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 year of experience working as an Electrical Engineer in design or construction phases of generation plants and prior experience in Wind Farm construction.
Work will be undertaken from early works until take over, with a forecasted duration of 18 months.
The Wind Farm is located in challenging terrain and the role selected Engineer will relocate to the project's area.
Responsibilities:
- Design documentation review
- Participate and contribute to schedule and extraordinary project meetings
- Monitor execution of early and construction works, inspections, tests, and commissioning
- Report deviations to agreed design or specifications, planning, H&S risk, or other hazards
- Contribute with his diligence and experience to the safe and efficient delivery of the intended works
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in design or construction phases of generation plants
- Prior Experience with Wind Farm project construction and commissioning
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Registration as Chartered as Eletrical Engineer or equivalent qualification
- Very strong interpersonal relationship and teamwork skills
- Strong autonomy and diligence and commitment to the end goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
