Job Summary:
The Project Engineer, Electrical will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing electrical engineering projects in support of plant expansion, equipment installation, utilities improvement, and automation initiatives. The role ensures that all electrical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement electrical engineering projects including design, installation, and commissioning.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for electrical systems and controls.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams for integrated project delivery.
- Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct load studies, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance planning for plant utilities.
- Support energy efficiency and automation improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code and local government requirements.
- Provide technical support during troubleshooting and plant start-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
- At least 35 years of experience in project electrical engineering, preferably in food manufacturing or processing industries.
- Strong background in industrial electrical systems, power distribution, MCC, PLC, and instrumentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software.
- Excellent project management, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement mindset.
