Job Description

Design

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a project
Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Sketchup to create accurate and efficient system designs.
Design electrical wiring plans, including the integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards.
Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement.
Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permitting and approvals.
Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation.
Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to align design objectives with project goals.

Project Implementation

Provide technical guidance during installation and construction.
Oversee site preparation, equipment installation, and electrical works.
Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with design and schedule.
Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Generate regular progress reports and project documentation.
Maintain clear and organized records of all project-related activities.
Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/ College degree in Electrical Engineering; Licensed Engineer.
Must be at least 2-3 years of experience as Design Engineer.
Strong grasp of electrical engineering concept and standard practice.
Competence in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Computer literate & articulate in both oral & written communication.
Organized, aggressive, result-oriented
Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Preferably residing in the South (Las Pias, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite, etc.)
