Role Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing switchboards and producing accurate technical drawings while ensuring compliance with Australian standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical switchboards in accordance with project requirements
- Ensure all designs comply with Australian electrical standards
- Prepare and review technical drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency
- Review specifications and ensure proper documentation of designs
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all deliverables
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, particularly in switchboard design
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards
- Experience or familiarity with IPD Techo Modular boards (preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
