Responsibilities:
- Technical expertise across electrical, controls and PLC system.
- Contribute significant design, review, integration and automation solution.
- Ability to contribute for the Design of Electrical services, design of building services and associated systems of work.
- Responsible for electrical system design, coordination & integration for building projects from design, detailed design preparation to tender documentation.
- M a n a g e s a nd m ai n t a i ns t he r ec ord of al l in c o mi ng a nd outgo i ng d r a wings from t he offi c e in a c c ord a nc e w it h W SP QA procedures.
- Ability to prepare technical reports on small to medium projects and review small project reports.
- Ability to project lead small to medium projects within the discipline. Gaining experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
- Apply legislation, standards, guidelines, and project specifications.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is a plus.
Experience, skills and organization:
- Atleast 6 - 8 years of relevant engineering design experience.
- Experienced in PLC system, Controls, SCADA and Automation.
- Prior experience in engineering consulting work, particularly in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, elevator control systems, industrial monitoring, smart parking systems, smart lighting control, robotic arms control, automated water level management and other fac ilities related to PLC systems.
- A candidate with knowledge in Building Services Electrical Design will be advantageous.
- Able to perform design stages from concept design, developed and detailed design.
- Interpret and Draft Plans
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics for new construction projects. Can also draft new plans to design electrical systems.
- Coordinate with other disciplines.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Architects and Engineers
- Adhere to Foreign Building Codes and local regulations
- Aware of the organization approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
- Experienced in understanding of WSP's organization capabilities and how to access it.
- Experienced capacity to deliver best client outcomes/options which have saved the client/cost time.
- Experienced skills to identify risk in small to medium profile projects.
- Experienced in supervising other on task.
- Working towards Professional Senior status.
- Revit and AutoCAD capable is a plus.
- Knowledge in software related to cable sizing, voltage drop and discrimination study is a plus. (PowerCAD, ETAP and Amtech)
- Knowledge of software related to illumination calculation is a plus. (Dialux, Relux, AGI32)
- Knowledge of software related to PDF sketching is a plus. (Adobe, BlueBeam Revu)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
